My name is Bradley Halpern and I hope to serve you next year as Senator at Large. In my first year at the UR, I have thoroughly enjoyed my role within student government and my other activities. Aside from the changes that I look forward to making through SA Senate, I am excited to continue my role on the eboard of Campus Activities Board and become a D’Lion in SueB, among other things.
By attending all Senate meetings this year, I have a solid understanding of how SA government works. As executive aide to the projects and services committee this year, I also had the opportunity to take charge of several campus improvement initiatives. For example, as co-chair of the Walk for Facilities, I planned the first successful forum for solid communication between facilities and the student body. Many of our suggestions have already been addressed, and a vast number more will be visible next year. I was also responsible for creating a detailed proposal, outlining priorities for bringing URWireless campus-wide. You should see the results of that success next fall as well. Finally, I investigated over 40 area taxi companies and drew up a plan to replace the current ticket-taxi program with one that will save students money, be sustainable, be easier to use, and be accessible to all students.
Regardless of this election’s outcome, please feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions. Student government is here to represent you, and I want to make sure that happens. I hope that you will check out my website at www.bradleyhalpern.com, but feel free to email me for more information. Thank you for your support,
~Bradley~
As executive aide to the Projects and Services committee for his freshman year, Bradley was responsible for several key projects on campus.
Bradley has also been active in many other roles on campus.

Bradley hung out with the editors of the Onion when they performed at UR, as part of his responsibilities as co-chair of CAB.
Bradley is a freshman at the University of Rochester, currently residing in Susan B. Anthony residence halls. He is from Chesterfield, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri.
While Bradley has no hope of narrowing down a major anytime soon, he has thoroughly enjoyed studying math, computer science, music theory, and political science so far. He also takes great pride in his role within the leadership groups on campus that he has been involved in. In his spare time, he can usually be found hanging out with his awesome hall, biking, or convincing people to go skiing with him.
While it has been confirmed that the Senator at Large election will be "no contest," as the number of candidates matches the number of available seats, I hope that you will still support me and the changes that I support in this election. You will be asked to vote for Senator at Large on your ballot, and I hope that you keep me in mind at that time. I look forward to representing you on the Senate next year, and I invite you to please contact me with any questions or suggestions.
I would like to thank my campaign artist, Meredith Gaylo, for her incredible work, along with all of my campaign volunteers.
